Work and Holiday visa

This visa let people from 18 to 30 years old have a holiday in Australia and work in the country to help them fund their trip. Furthermore, this could be an amazing opportunity to visit Australia before coming to the country as an international student.

You should have a passport from an eligible country, be between 18 to 30 years old and apply from outside Australia.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa

The employer Nomination scheme visa allows the nominated skilled workers to live and work in Australia permanently. It is available for applicants that already live in and work in Australia as temporary residents and for applicants who live outside Australia.

For being eligible for this working visa you must be a skilled individual nominated by an Australian employer. 

What are the visa streams?

  • Direct entry stream: Your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations. 
  • Labour agreement stream: Your employer must have a labour agreement.
  • Temporary residence transition stream: You must have worked for your employer full-time for at least three years. Also, you must hold a bridging visa.

Skilled Work Regional Visa

This visa is for skilled people nominated by a state or territory government to live and work in regional Australia.

To be eligible for this working visa you should be nominated to apply by a state or territory government agency. Also, you should have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list. 

What are the visa streams?

  • Skilled work regional visa for the main applicant: This is a provisional visa for skilled workers that want to live and work in regional Australia.
  • For subsequent entrant: This visa is for a member of the family of someone who holds a Skilled work regional visa.

Skilled Nominated Visa

The skilled nominated visa lets nominated skilled workers to live and work in Australia as permanent residents.

To be eligible for this working visa you must have an occupation on the relevant skilled list. Also, you need to have suitable skills assessments for the occupation, also and most importantly you have to be invited to apply. 

Skilled independent Visa

The skilled independent visa is for invited workers that have specific skills that Australia needs. Under this visa, they will be able to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.

To apply you don’t need a sponsor or nominator, but you need to be invited to apply and be less than 45 years old.

The temporary work (short stay specialist) visa will let you do high-specialized work in Australia in the short-term.

You need to have highly specialized skills, knowledge and experience to help an Australian business. This specific skill has to be something that can’t be found in Australia.

Temporary working visa (International Relations)

The temporary work (international relations) visa is for people to work in specific tasks that can improve Australia’s international relations. 

What are the requirements to apply?

You need to be employed or engaged under the terms and conditions of a bilateral agreement between Australia and the government of another country.

What are the visa streams?

  • Foreign government agency stream: You can work in Australia employed by a foreign government as a foreign language teacher or as a representative of a foreign government agency. 
  • Domestic Worker: This visa stream, lets a person do temporary full-time domestic work in Australia for someone who holds a diplomatic visa.
